Types of Gifts
Gifts to the UVA Health System take many forms. Some donors make a gift to an annual fund. Some support a specific research project or endowed fund. Others make gifts in honor of or in memory of a family member, doctor, nurse or professor who made an impact on their life.
You may choose to make a gift in honor of or in memory of an individual, family member, physician, nurse or professor who made an impact on your life. When making a memorial gift, indicate:
- The area you would like to support
- The name of the individual that you are making the gift in honor or in memory of
- The name and contact information for anyone that you would like the Health System Development Office to notify of your gift
Many gift options are available to our donors and some qualify you for one of UVA's donor recognition societies.
Gifts made by medical alumni to benefit the School of Medicine are received and managed by the Medical School Foundation, unless otherwise designated.
